After deciding on what font I was going to use, I then started on taking photos for my magazine. It was not easy getting the right shot which was perfect in every way because there was many aspects to consider, these were: lighting, camera angles, models poses, models clothing, hair and makeup, background/setting and props if any were used.
To begin with I thought about what look I would want my model to have because I think this a a very important part of the photo. To decided what my model would be wearing I thought about what was currently in fashion because a music artist is always fashionable. I decided these items of clothing would be; sequin leggings, lace top, fur coat, ruffle dress and a lace dress.I started looking at other photos of women of the front of magazines to see what sort of poses I could try. Here are a few professional shots that I thought would work well on a magazine front cover:

When looking at these four images, the part that strikes me is the hand positions. When I take my photos I am going to concerntrate on where my models hands are. Lady Gaga was my main inspiration for the pose.
However for hair and makeup, Cheryl Cole was my main inspiration. Here are some photos that I considered when doing my models hair and makeup.

As you can see from looking at the photos, here hair is always quite statement because it is very volumised, her face makeup is quite subtle but I do like the bright lipstick in the top left photo.
I am going to use a white background so that my model is the only thing the viewer would be looking at in the photo and I am going to consider the lighting and camera angle when taking the photos.
