To begin with i decided to type out my magazine title using many different fonts to see if there were any that stood out and looked better than the others. Here are my original fonts styles:

The fonts that i chose to use here are quite random. I literally just searched through them all and chose the ones that I thought had potential and that I liked the style of.
I did all of the fonts in the colour grey because it is universal and goes with many other colours. By using grey it allows me to use a range of other colours on my front page without them clashing.
I am now going to choose my favourite font from the ones above and experiment with it to make it more desirable and attractive.

I chose the experiment with the font 'Dollis'. I liked the font but I also thought that it had potential which was definately discovered after using the photoshop tools to edit the fonts.
To the left at the bottom is the original font and above are two I have edited. To one of the fonts i added a drop shadow and an inside glow which has made it bolder than it was before. To the other font I embossed the writing and added and inside and outside glow. This has made the individual letters thicker, slightly 3D and bubble like.
I then chose out of the edited fonts which one I would use as my actual font for the front page of my music magazine. I chose the top font. However, I still felt that it was a bit dull and so for my final font I edited it again.
This is my final font.

To create my final font, I added a pink glow around the edge. This is a recent decision because the colour pink was taken from my models lipstick colour in the front page image. Seeing as I have made my title colours pink and grey, these colours are likely to be a theme throughout my magazine. I prefer my final font to the one I chose above because the pink brightens it and makes it bolder and therefore more affective and defined.
