Front Cover - Layout

My next step was to start designing a layout for my Front Page. I had an idea of how I wanted my front cover to look so I found this quite easy to do. From my research and looking at previous magazines I decided to base my layout on these real magazines:

These magazines both had features which I liked, these were:

- The cover lines being laid out around each side of the model.

- The title being large and spread across the top of the front cover.

- The model taking up almost the whole page and that it is central.

- The image being a medium close up.

- Having a line of information at the top. However, I will consider having this at the bottom instead because I want the title to be the main feature at the top.

Researching previous magazines made the designing of the layout for my magazine much easier because I had ideas on where I wanted everything to go.
